Plexr Skin Rejuvenation
Ideal Candidates for Plexr Plasma Pen Therapy are individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles. It is suitable for those seeking non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation, and is generally effective for all skin types.
How Is Plexr Performed?
Preparation: The treatment area will be cleansed, and a topical anesthetic applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure. Your therapist will mark the area to be treated and discuss expected results.
Procedure: As the Plexr pen is guided precisely along wrinkles and/or loose folds of skin, you will feel a sensation of warmth as the plasma makes contact, similar to a pinprick. Your therapist will continually check in to make sure you are comfortable.
Post-Treatment: Immediately following treatment, you can expect redness, swelling, and some discomfort for 5-7 days. We will send you home with aftercare products to facilitate healing and keep you comfortable. Small scabs will form and then fall off as the skin regenerates over the course of the week. Collagen remodelling will continue for several months, further improving the appearance of the skin. We recommend a series of 3 treatments done every 3-4 months, allowing the skin to regenerate completely between sessions.

How many Plexr treatments are needed?
Up to 3 treatments are recommended for optimal results, depending on the degree of skin laxity. Treatments are usually spaced several months apart to allow for healing and optimal results.
Is Plexr painful?
The procedure is generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. Patients may experience mild tingling, warmth, or a stinging sensation during the treatment. Topical anesthetics are used to enhance comfort.
What is the downtime after Plexr treatment?
You can expect redness, swelling, and the formation of small scabs that naturally fall off as the skin heals over a period of approximately one week. There is a risk of temporary hyperpigmentation, prolonged healing or skin sensitivity, but no permanent scars.
