How Is Emsella Performed?
What Is Emsella?
The muscles of the pelvic floor support the bladder, uterus, and bowel and are crucial for urinary control and sexual function. Pelvic muscles can weaken due to pregnancy, childbirth, surgery, or menopause. While Kegel exercises and physiotherapy help, they are often insufficient because consistent and correct execution can be difficult.
Emsella is a non-invasive treatment that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to strengthen pelvic floor muscles. While seated fully clothed in the Emsella chair, strong electromagnetic pulses stimulate deep pelvic muscles, triggering contractions beyond voluntary control. These rapid contractions both strengthen and retrain the muscles, improving urinary control and sexual satisfaction.
Emsella is ideal for men and women experiencing urinary incontinence or seeking to enhance sexual function. Treatments are painless, require no downtime, and are highly effective when combined with maintenance sessions. The Core to Floor Program combines Emsella with Emsculpt NEO to strengthen abdominal muscles for optimal core conditioning.
