How Is Laser Skin Tightening Done?
Preparation: Your skin will be cleansed, and we will take before photos to document your changes over time.
Procedure: As the laser passes over the tissue, you will feel a warm sensation in the skin, but no discomfort. Many clients tell us the experience is relaxing, like a hot stone massage.
Post-Treatment: You may experience slight redness for the first 1-2 hours, but nothing more. Since there is no injury to the superficial skin layers, there is no peeling, swelling or pain. You can go back to your usual activities right away, making this a convenient treatment.

What Is Laser Skin Tightening?
Laser skin tightening is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that is designed to tighten, lift and volumize your skin. It can be used to treat all areas of the face, including the lower eyelids and lips, with no downtime and long-lasting results. It is an alternative to traditional dermal fillers or surgery.
Laser tightening works by delivering laser energy to the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate new collagen without damaging the epidermis. The laser stimulates collagen remodelling to build support in areas like the nasal folds, marionette lines and jowls. All the work is going on underneath the skin, so there is no visible downtime. This treatment is safe for all ages and skin colour.

The Fotona 2D® is a treatment that literally works from the inside out. We begin with SMOOTH™, a gentle laser light that is safe to use within the mouth and directed at the inside of the cheeks and lips. This is followed by PIANO®, which applies heat to the outside skin over the cheeks, lower face and neck. The combination of the two modalities stimulates collagen remodelling to tighten the skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles.
Clear Lift® uses a photoacoustic laser applied externally to deliver heat deep into the dermis. This triggers collagen shrinkage for an immediate lifting effect. Over the next several weeks, collagen remodelling will continue, and you will notice gradual improvement in both tightness and elasticity.

How many treatments are recommended for optimal results?
3 to 6 treatments spaced every 4 weeks are usually recommended. Your provider will customize the plan based on your goals and the degree of tightening desired.
Is laser skin tightening painful?
Most clients experience a mild warming or tingling sensation, which is brief and manageable. The procedure is generally well-tolerated.
What is the downtime after laser skin tightening?
Downtime is minimal. Any redness or slight swelling typically resolves within a few hours, allowing you to resume normal activities immediately.
