Ideal Candidates for a chemical peel are individuals seeking a mild yet effective exfoliation to address skin texture issues, fine lines, and dullness. It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and those looking for a boost to their skin’s appearance.

What are Chemical Peels?

A professional chemical peel is a resurfacing treatment that gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and increase skin turnover. Active ingredients include alpha hydroxy, lactic and salicylic acids, enzymes extracted from papaya, polyphenols, antioxidants and vitamins. The acid blends used in our clinic are self-neutralizing and less irritating, significantly reducing the risk of burns or prolonged downtime.

Chemical peels are recommended to improve skin texture and tone, and to address problems such as uneven pigmentation, fine lines, dull skin and poor hydration. Each peel is customized to your skin type and concerns to ensure you get optimal results. Chemical peels can be done as a monthly treatment for overall skin rejuvenation or as a single treatment before a special event.

Treatments begin at $129

How Is It Done?

Preparation: The treatment area is cleansed to remove any impurities and prepare the skin for the peel.

Procedure: The acid solution chosen for your skin type/concern is applied in layers. These ingredients work to gently dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to be exfoliated away. You will feel a mild tingling sensation throughout the procedure, but no pain.

Post Treatment: Immediately after the treatment, your skin may be slightly flushed and feel tight for the next 24-48 hours. The peel stimulates the production of new, healthy skin cells and collagen to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and even tone.

Number Of Treatments

Typically, 3 to 6 peels are recommended for optimal results. Treatments are usually spaced 4 weeks apart to allow the skin to recover and to achieve the best outcomes. Maintenance treatments can be done as often as every 4 weeks.

Pain Associated

Our chemical peels are generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. Most people experience a mild tingling or warmth during the procedure, which is usually well-managed with no significant pain.

Down Time & Side Effects

Downtime is minimal, but you can expect slight redness, tightness or peeling for 1-2 days. Any side effects are usually mild and resolve quickly, making it a convenient option for those seeking minimal interruption to their daily routine.
