What Are Neurotoxins?

Following injection, results are seen in as little as 48 hours and will last for several months. Injections must be repeated every 3-4 months for ongoing benefits.

The number of units needed will be determined during your consultation with one of our physician or nurse injectors. Treatments typically take only a few minutes with minimal discomfort.
The active ingredient, Botulinum Toxin A, is the same in all of the common brands we carry including Botox, Xeomin and Nuceiva.

Pain Associated
The procedure involves minimal discomfort, with most patients experiencing only a slight pinching or stinging sensation during the injections. A topical numbing cream can be applied on request.
Down Time & Side Effects
Downtime is minimal, with most patients returning to normal activities immediately after treatment. Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which usually resolve within a few days. We will see you in 2 weeks to review your results and offer touch ups if required.
